Join us on Zoom for an evening of prayer to our God.
‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’ For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Prayer is not just for the individual, but for part of the uniqueness of gathering as God’s people. We see the church in Acts 12 in earnest prayer for Peter. In Acts 13 the church prays to God as Paul and Barnabas are commissioned to take the gospel to the gentiles. And in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Paul tells this new church to pray continually.
It is our joy and delight to spend time praying as God’s people over Zoom.
We will follow this document, perfectly deigned to fit on your phone screen. It has verses, ideas of what to pray and a simple format to guide us.
